Customize Bookmark

Today my friend took me home after our last class, and she spent some times chatting with us. I remembered that she said she want to make bookmark by herself. But, it came up I did it for her. LOL This was a special experience because this one is all customized by her. She pick the color and stamps. My work is design a way to fit all her request together. I learned that the stamp does not have to use entire image. It could be use partially, and you will find out that you can play with the stamp over and over with different cards. This awesome tip is from Virginia Lu! I love her articles of how you can expend your stamp!

歡樂聖誕節- 馬賽克拼貼技法

這是去年最後一篇聖誕節了!!! 我保證!!!
我真的很喜歡馬賽克拼貼, 為什麼呢？
因為!!!!!!!一次可以做三張啊!!!! :D:D
卡片簡約說明:
1) 選三個同樣大小的顏色紙卡
2) 分別都蓋上背景章 (一定要一樣位置, 不然之後拼貼會接不起來)
3) 蓋好後, 三張紙卡角落都貼上可撕下來的膠帶固定
4) 隨意剪出想要的形狀
5) 之後可以選擇小片紙卡要留縫隙還是不要喔

裝飾部分:
1) 用上色筆在印章上畫好顏色後, 隨意加上粉紅跟藍點點還有小星星
2) 邊緣用紅色印章上色出框框的感覺 (板擦技法)
3) 附印紙蓋上字張

I promise this is the last article of Christmas card. I really like this technique!! Why?
Because I can make three cards at once!!!

Briefly explain how I make this card:
1) Choose three different color but same size papers
2) Stamp on the background stamp
( Must be stamp on the exactly position, otherwise it will be hard when you wanna mix them together)
3) After stamp step, use the tape, which can tear down easily, to regulate
4) Cut whatever the shape you want randomly
5) You can choose to leave space between each piece or not

Decorate part:
1) Stamp and use color pencil on the image. Then, use magic color pencil to blur color to create shadow feeling and use embossing powder on the image
2) Red ink pad to put a little bit color on the edge
3) use tracing paper to stamp "Merry Christmas"
4) Tie a huge red bow

歡樂聖誕節 Merry Christmas改版

If you want to let someone knows you miss him/her, it is not difficult at all. A sweet card with all your thought convert into words. I believe the receiver will know that when he/she got the card! So, my classmate who becomes a good friend of mine really loves this card. (See below) And, ask me if I can make another one for his girlfriend.

Of course, I said yes! I made this card again, but I did a little changes like the text to "Merry Christmas" and the rope to two strings. Those two tiny bows really took me some times... Well, I was glad that he love what I did for those changes!

即使現在網路發達, 想要聊天打開網路就可以見到對方也可以說說話
但是還是覺得這些都沒有一張裡面寫滿, 滿滿的思念的卡片來得真實!
所以當我上學期交到的新朋友呢, 得知道我愛做卡片,
看上了我之前最給我的Bestie的卡片
問我能不能幫他做一張一樣的, 我馬上就答應啦:)
只希望他在中國的女朋友收到會非常感動!!!

歡樂聖誕節- 燙凸技法

燙凸技法真是個很好發揮的一個方法, 所以光是聖誕節這節日就做了三張喔:)
幾乎都是類似的構圖
1) 選個主題章來燙凸
2) 用印台還有金質粉 (Perfect Pearl Mist)染色
3) 剪出小標籤蓋上文字章
4) 綁上蝴蝶結跟小裝飾就完成囉

第一張寄回去給家人, 希望他們可以健康, 不管是生活還是工作都可以順利

第二張送給我的Bestie, 希望他可以順利收到...
天知道之前無數的卡片明信片都跑到哪去了哭哭

這張的背景有點不一樣喔, 是採用Helen的自製復古染料
也就是把墨水補充劑加上金質粉 (Broken China + Turquoise)

所有的主題章都來自Tim Holtz
背景用紅色的印台加上金質粉看起來也不錯喔

除了Perfect Pearl 的金質粉我還買了Heirloom Gold,
所以想試試效果...但是好像不太理想哈哈

超級比一比!!!!!!! 看看哪裡不一樣或是有相似的地方呢:P

Wedding Card-- Paper Piecing

This one is for my two good friends. Wanna congrats them for this happy event in their life although there are not many people know this great news at the beginning. Now, their son is four-months-old!!!

I used alcohol inks on the blending tool and pat on glossy paper. Paper piecing on the clothes of brides and groom. Hope you guys like it :)

這張是給在美國認識的好朋搖啦, 恭喜他們結婚啦
雖然只有少數幾的朋友知道, 但我還是替他們感到開心
而現在他們的兒子都已經四個月大了!!!!

這張用酒精性顏料滴在blending tool上在隨意輕拍在鏡面紙
而新郎新娘身上的衣服則是用紙張剪貼技法

歡樂聖誕節- 瀑布卡

每次聖誕節都會做出好多卡片, 送給身邊的還有台灣的親朋好友們!
今年也不例外, 我會陸陸續續全部放上來:)

這張呢, 是給我家Alan的:)
當室友的壞處就是....驚喜都會很容易被發現
每次偷偷做卡片都要緊張兮兮的, 不過這次有成功驚喜到他!
因為我提早做完, 忍不住到聖誕節當天,
所以做好隔天趁他在洗澡時, 偷偷放在他房間裡
他看到後, 馬上跑過來驚訝的說, 今天又不是節日怎麼送卡片!?
嘿嘿...為了不讓驚喜失敗, 就提前送囉:P

這是我的第二張瀑布卡, 真的朋友看到都會哇一聲, 說很好玩呢:)

這技法不難...只要跟著說明把紙張裁一裁就差不多了,
我把大部分的時間都花在上色上面, 所以花了比較久的時間
最喜歡的就是等等全部拉出來的部分!!!!!!

Magic Color Pencil- CFC 69

It's for a long time for me to join any card activities..
However, I did some great ones during summer vacation and haven't share it online yet.
Hope you guys like this one! :)

The topic for CFC#69 is embossing.
I did not know that color pencil can go a great job for me until a nice teacher taught me.

色鉛筆上色後, 再使用浮水筆
（我是在貝登堡手創館購買的）
浮水筆可以使兩個顏色之間自然混合, 之後再用透明凸粉在剛剛上色的地方加熱
就會變成上面這張美美的漸層效果啦

This card is a reward for a wonderful sister in the church.
Although she could not join the retreat with us, she join the practice all the time.
In order to remember her great attitude, I decide to make this card for her. :)

Fears and Dreams #54 -- 雙口袋卡

很喜歡這段話:
What if your fears and dreams exist in the same place. Would you still go there?

I would for sure!
如果夢想的地方是完美無缺的那還有什麼挑戰性, 對吧!?
就像是每件事情背後總有一大堆的酸甜苦辣
但就是因為有那些痛苦辛苦勞苦所堆積而成的
才會顯得事物加倍美好加倍有成就感, 不是嘛!?

其實這張雙口袋卡是有嚴重的偷工減料啦哈哈
有美邊紙部分是剪下貼上的!
因為一開始想要練習折看看, 又不想要把美邊紙折錯
就拿了張空白A4紙張, 結果之後也覺得怪浪費的
所以就在截止日當天把這張趕出來啦哈哈

想嘗試看看若有白色部分會不會看起來比較不花:D
應該是不錯的吧? 對啊?

友情, 真的有一輩子的

有位真心朋友, 真好:)

怎麼樣才算是真心朋友!?
我一直深信若是我們相處在一起
不需要刻意做什麼不會尷尬場面也不會太乾

那我想這樣就是所謂的真心的朋友了

但是往往這種人一生當中又能遇到幾個呢？

就是因為稀少, 所以才會加倍珍惜

"Friends are flowers that never fade"
友情就想那花朵一樣, 永不凋零

-這是我最喜歡的一句話之一

嘿! 林姿, 我很想你
在這個人生地不熟的環境下更想你:D
感覺這樣的我好沒用喔
不過這大概就是大家所說的過渡期吧

真正的美來自內在 #51 -- 我的新玩具

這次的新玩具則是酒精顏料!!!!!!!!
而技法是: Helen分享的酒精顏料技法玩法之一
雖然"紅配綠" 但是效果真的很好很漂亮吧:)

美麗的芭蕾舞者不管是那奔放的靈魂還是美麗的外表
都充分表明 Beauty is in the heart of the beholder!!!

編織技法 - 廢紙利用 Use some piecemeal paper

這張生日卡片的出生完全是個意外

但是呢這真的可以說是美麗的意外
因為我那陣子完全沒有做卡片
忙著打包搬家行李搬著一箱又一箱去郵局寄誇張到我的手臂變粗了好多:(

所以呢當然不是我這"弱女子"一個人可以辦到的事情
為了謝謝朋友的幫忙又因為他在台灣的姊姊要過生日了
就叫他省下買卡片的錢我直接幫他做一張

剛好在Helen的Blog找靈感時
看到了編織技法既可以學新技法又可以利用廢紙

做完這張後意外的得到好多人的好評
雖然.....好多人看到這張的第一眼是"魷魚絲" = =
(台灣人的精神果然就是愛吃!!!!!!)

但是這張生日卡成為了我也很喜歡的一張作品:D

兩旁的咖啡色紙是美編紙, 中間背景的黃色部分是用黃色印台加上一點深咖啡
"魷魚絲"部分則是黃色的紙裁成一條條長條狀, 再用點點印章隨意亂蓋, 邊邊用深咖啡色上色
字章的tag則是自己剪的, 邊邊同樣用深咖啡色上色, 上方打洞再打上緞帶打結

I would have say this one is a beautiful accident. I was busy packing my stuff and going to post office to ship A LOT of my things, like TV, printer....Of course, there is no way I can do this all by myself. There is a new friend just came from Taiwan to Seattle for not really long time, and he said he can help me carry those packages!!! When we arrived post office, he saw some birthday cards and was going to buy one for his sister. I told him that don't buy, I will make one for you for helping me.

After I made this one and posted on Facebook, everyone like it! but....so many people said it is like Squid Shreds... (Totally shows the Taiwanese spiritual-- love to eat!)

Do you think this card really looks like squid shreds?? lol Whether it is or not, it becomes one of my favorite cards! :)

Christmas Cards for 2011

發現若是有特定的主題真的會一口氣有很多想法
然後就是一直做好多張卡片

所以說光聖誕節這個節日
我就做了八張
2011年就送出了四張

至於其他四張嘛....
就讓我們今年請拭目以待啦:D
想我當初在台灣擠出好多時間做了卡片
把我的書桌弄的一團亂

而且我發現真的以後的房間設計
一定一定一定要有一張工作桌
當然就是要讓我這懶蟲可以不用收拾做卡片的所有工具跟材料啦

圖一跟圖二是用Helen分享的Lumiere金屬染料技法
但是呢因為我沒有Lumiere顏料所以就用壓克力顏料代替
而那壓克力顏料還是我妹買的但是根本像是沒用過
二話不說就被我偷拿來用了
其實以圖一來說這真的效果不錯喔:)
再加上中間的的印章底色是用方形印台直接輕拍法

這張是我很喜歡的一張聖誕卡
因為能夠成功用第一次新學的技法
成就感加倍呢:D

I found that if there is a specific topic, I will have lots of ideas at same time!
So, as the topic is Christmas, I made eight cards, and gave four of them out to my dear friends. For another four...hehehe I would save them for this year. In the future, I would definitely have to re-design my room! In order to be a lazy bug, I must need a station for making cards, so I don't need to clean it every time when I made a mess.

其實圖二真的跟我一開始想的不太一樣
這張也是我非常傷腦筋的一張
想要補救但是好像越來越糟, 因為我用的印台不是油性所以在投影片上不會乾
想說用沒有蓋的另一面貼上就沒事了, 但是還是效果很差, 所以就放棄了唉:(

This one is not a success one...because I stamped on slide and not use the waterproof ink pad. I tried to do something to it, but in the end, it made it worse...

這Kuso的聖誕精靈也是今年回台灣買的新貨
用了方形印台輕拍法剩下的紙張
沒想到拿來搭配這張卡片剛剛好
同時那聖誕精靈也是用方形印台輕拍法

由此可見方形印台輕拍法真的真的很好用而且又簡單!!!!!!!!!!

雖然看起來很簡單
但是花在這張卡片的心力完全不輸給前面三張喔
光是"Merry Christmas"字章的邊框
我可是用黑色方形印台慢慢的一點一點的弄上去的

Although this one looks simple and easy, I spend as much time on it as the first three cards. The frame of "Merry Christmas" is used black ink pad.

雖然他才國一...

More Cards Challenge 魔卡挑戰 #36 - 花盆卡II

這張應該算比較高雅一點哈哈
用粉紅色蓋完蝴蝶就知道慘了因為根本看不到啊:(
所以靈機一動就用原子筆將蝴蝶強調了一下
效果有沒有好一點呢!?

兩張同樣想表達我跟朋友的感情
但是這張同時也變成我的補生日卡啦哈哈

就這叫做"一卡二用啦" :D

More Cards Challenge 魔卡挑戰 #36 - 花盆卡

感覺好久沒有做卡片了
要不是看到這次的花盆卡這麼吸引我
又加上終於考完所有的期末考

當晚就馬上一口氣做了兩張:D:D
真的好喜歡這次的花盆卡
簡單又豐富大家的眼:)

Feels like it has been so long for my to make any cards...If this style of card is not that attractive, and I am done with all my finals, I would not be able to make any. So, I make two at night, and it was so easy to make!
